RESULTS
FREDONIA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's cross country team finished fifth out of 21 teams and 154 student-athletes at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional hosted by SUNY Fredonia with 217 points. Two Bombers were named all-region after their performances.
New York University won the regional race with 32 points, while SUNY Geneseo was right behind with 36. The University of Rochester secured third with 106 and Hamilton College took fourth with 112 points.
Joy Petersen and
Logan Brasacchio were IC's top runners on the day. Petersen took 11th overall and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship in Terre Haute, Ind. as she clocked a time of 22:44.6. Petersen was the second non-runner from NYU or Geneseo to finish the race.
Brasacchio also earned all-region as she finished 32nd in a time of 23:29.7.
Kayleigh Milligan took 45th in 23:47.8 and
Jessica Goode finished in 64th at 24:19.1.
Hannah Pawlowski followed in 66th with a time of 24:24.3 and
Jillian Shea was 69th at 24:27.3.
