Both Cross Country Teams Place Second at Fredonia

FREDONIA, N.Y. –
The Ithaca College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Western New York on Saturday to compete in the Fredonia Kara Hall Memorial Invitational and both teams finished in second place.

The women totaled 60 points among 13 teams and 140 runners on the 6K course, while the men earned 76 points with 17 programs and 184 runners in action in the 8K.

Three women finished within the top 10 as Kyla Eisman led the way in third with a time of 23:03.7. Jessica Good was close behind in fifth at 23:17.0 and Logan Brasacchio took eighth in a time of 23:23.4.

Joy Petersen and Kayleigh Milligan also factored into team scoring with 20th and 24th place showings. Petersen posted a time of 24:13.0 and Milligan clocked 24:18.8.

Madison Buckley and Hannah Pawlowski were the next IC runners to complete the course with times of 24:43.7 and 25:00.3 to place 29th and 39th.

For the men, the Bombers posted four top 15 finishes in the race. James Hughes placed sixth in 25:54.8 and Ben Buffone tailed in seventh with 25:56.1.

Drew Taylor came in 12th place with a time of 26:28.4 and Toag Wolfe followed in 13th at 26:31.4. Patrick Bierach was the final scoring runner in 38th (43rd) with a time of 27:33.7.

Colin Lesher and Kaiden Chandler were top 60 runners with times of 27:47.3 and 27:56.0.
