ITHACA, N.Y. - The Liberty League released its weekly awards on September 11 and six Ithaca College student-athletes were honored for their exceptional performances from September 5-10. An additional five student-athletes landed on the weekly honor roll.
Field Hockey Offensive Performer of the Week – Sarah DeVito
Sarah DeVito tallied a hat trick in the second half of a 4-2 comeback victory for Ithaca at Misericordia on September 6. Ithaca trailed, 2-0, after the first half and DeVito quickly tied the game by redirecting two penalty corners and then finished off her hat trick with a diving poke early in the fourth quarter.

Football Defensive Performer of the Week – Ben Stola
Ben Stola made 10 total tackles with one tackle for loss and an interception returned for 17 yards during Ithaca's 20-17 win at Endicott on Saturday.

Men's Tennis Singles Performer of the Week – Nicolas Luis
Senior
Nicolas Luis led the Bombers efforts in the season-opening St. Lawrence Fall Classic. Competing in the "A Flight", he defeated St. Lawrence's Cole Hamilton by an 8-3 score. He continued to roll in his quarterfinals matchup by besting Hobart's Nick Grosso, 8-6. On the second day of competition that was moved indoors due to inclement weather, Luis punched his ticket into the finals by defeating Hobart's Sean Pesin by an 8-4 score. He fell in the finals in a tough matchup against Hamilton's Connor Griff who bested him 8-3.

Women's Golfer of the Week – Rheanna DeCrow
Rheanna DeCrow played the best rounds of her career as she fired 75 and 74Â for 149 (+3) to finish second overall and two shots off the lead at the Hamilton Invitational. DeCrow was one-over on Saturday with five birdies and then went two-over on Sunday with four more birdies. She went one-under on the back nine during Saturday's round and repeated that performance on the front nine during Sunday's event.
Women's Volleyball Performer of the Week – Jamie Koopman

Jamie Koopman had a big week for the Bombers helping them to a 3-0 weekend, which included a four-set upset over No. 13 Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She hit over .400 in each match including 11 kills and five blocks at the net against MIT. She would lead all student-athletes with 15 kills in the sweep over Keene State as at the conclusion of the invite, Koopman was named the Tournament MVP.
Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week – Trevor Dix
Trevor Dix was ninth overall with a time of 16:23.2 on the 5K course at Brockport on Saturday as Ithaca finished in second overall.
HONOR ROLL
Jessica Goode was the runner-up in a time of 19:29.3 in the 5K to lead the Bombers on Saturday at the Brockport Alumni Meet as Ithaca would go on to win in the team standings with 27 points.

James Hughes paced Ithaca with a sixth place finish out of 87 runners in a time of 16:09.9 on the 5K course at Brockport on Saturday.
Junior defender
Allison Heft helped the Ithaca women's soccer team to its second shutout of the season in the 5-0 tie with Mount Saint Mary College (NY). She delivered a beautiful long through ball to assist the first goal of the match against the Knights and nearly headed in a goal later in the match but her effort ricocheted off the goal post.
Sam Kline caught seven passes for 92 yards and one touchdown in Ithaca's 20-17 win at Endicott on Saturday. Kline hauled in the go-ahead touchdown from 30 yards out with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Darren Brunner averaged 40.0 yards on four punts with a long of 54 yards against Endicott on Saturday as Ithaca won 20-17. Brunner also recorded 10 total tackles in the game as a linebacker.
