ITHACA, N.Y. – Competition at the 2023 NCAA Region IV Diving Championships resumed inside the Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium on Saturday with the women competing on the 1-meter and the men competing on the 3-meter boards. Senior diver
Karalyn Pawcio continued her dominant season by punching a ticket to the NCAA Championship with her first-place finish in the one-meter dive.
It was back-and-forth all afternoon long between Pawcio and her teammate
Leah Levin who also secured a spot in the NCAA Championship with a second-place finish. Pawcio earned the top spot by putting together a finals score of 476.15, which bested Levin's score of 466.80. Securing a top-5 finish in the event for the Bombers was
Abby Marraccino who scored a total of 447.30.
On the men's side,
Connor Gleasman secured himself a seventh-place finish on the 3-meter. Gleasman finished with a finals score of 493.25. Judson Kyle from Carnegie Mellon won the event totaling 557.45.
