ITHACA, N.Y. - The College sculling season ended last weekend at the Head of the Fish and the entire squad got back into eights for their final fall race. Cornell hosted and the other competition came from Syracuse and Colgate.
This weekend's race consisted of 2 x 5K. During the first race, the Bombe's were up against, the 3V's and 4"s from Cornell, Syracuse, and Colgate. Ithaca 1,2 and 3 were boated even for the first race. The three boats finished, back to back, behind Syracuse and Cornell and ahead of Colgate.

The athletes rowed back to the dock and reconfigured the line-ups into a 1V, 2V and Novice 8+. This round pitted the Bomber's against 4 boats from Syracuse, 4 boats from Cornell and 2 boats from Colgate.

It was a good day for the Bombers. It is fun to occasionally match up against some Division 1 powerhouses. Colgate is regular rival and we will see them again this spring.
