ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's cross country team IC finished 10th in the NCAA Niagara Regional hosted by the University of Rochester on Saturday. The Bombers conclude their 2022 season.
Ithaca totaled 260 points in the 8K race that featured 24 teams and 172 runners. Geneseo won with 41 points, while Brockport was the runner-up with 77 points. The top 35 runners in the 6K race will earn all-region honors.
Danny Jagoe put together a masterful race and should receive an individual bid to the NCAA Division III Championships as he placed fourth overall with a time of 25:22.5.
James Hughes finished 40th overall in a time of 26:42.8, while
Alex Whatley came in 65th at 27:22.8.
Patrick Bierach was a 74th place runner in 27:41.6, while
Drew Taylor rounded out the top five in 77th with a time of 27:43.2.
Ryan Medeiros and
Jonathan Sadanaga also competed for the Bombers and finished in 106th (28:51.6) and 133rd (29:43.6.).
