ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College cross country teams will look to claim regional titles this weekend as IC travels to Geneseo to compete in the Niagara Regional Championship at Geneseo Warplane Museum on Saturday, November 13. The men race at 11 a.m. and the women follow at 12 p.m. The awards ceremony will take place at 1:10 p.m.
The National Warplane Museum is located directly adjacent to the Geneseo campus at 3489 Big Tree Ln, Geneseo, N.Y. 14454.

The IC men are ranked second in the region, while the women are ranked third. Geneseo is the No. 1 team for both genders in the region, while St. John Fisher is No. 2 on the women's side.
The top team from both races will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championships, which takes place on November 20 in Louisville, Ky. Across the country, 10 programs – men and women – will earn automatic bids and 22 other colleges for will receive at-large berths to the championship and 70 individual runners unattached from qualifying teams will also attend that national title races.
In the most recent regional championship in 2019, the IC women finished third overall and the men took fourth, earning both programs an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship. Both teams would go on to finish 26th in the country.
