ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team topped Union, 183-117.

Prior to the meet starting, the Bombers honored their seniors –
Anna Belson,
Nilza Costa,
Katie Helly,
Kelsey Jepsen,
Lindsey Suddaby and
Alyssa Wishart.

The team of
Morgan Hoffman-Smith,
Ashley Warren, Jackie Pecze and
Genevieve Tripler started things off on a strong note for IC, winning the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:54.29.

Paige Landers,
Gabrielle Humphrey,
Angelina Domena and Jepsen took second in the race after swimming to a time of 1:57.10.
Â
Hoffman-Smith claimed an individual victory in the 1,000 yard freestyle, winning with a time of 10:51.49.
Maura Beuttel finished in third for IC with a time of 11:31.07.

Domena was the top Bombers' finisher in the 200 yard freestyle, taking second with a time of 2:03.06.
Tori Eastham finished in third with a time of 2:04.84 while
Katie Conte took fourth with a time of 2:06.19.

Pecze was victorious in the 100 yard backstroke, winning the field with a time of 1:03.18. Costa took second place after swimming to a time of 1:05.53.

In the 100 yard breaststroke, it was once again a Bombers' swimmer to touch the wall first. Warren took first place with a time of 1:11.17.
Casey Koenig was the next IC finisher, coming in third place with a time of 1:14.25.

Jepsen was the top IC finisher in the 200 yard butterfly, taking second place with a time of 2:19.54.
Kaitlyn Scott came in third place after swimming to a time of 2:23.27.

In the 50 yard freestyle, Landers finished in second place for IC, coming in at 25.71. Caroline Bissaillon was right behind her, taking third place with a time of 25.72.

The Bombers took second, third and fourth in the 100 yard freestyle. Tripler was the top finisher for IC, coming in third with a time of 55.63. Bissaillon took third with a time of 56.84 while Warren finished in fourth with a time of 58.25.

Hoffman-Smith was the highest finisher for the Bombers in the 200 yard backstroke. She took second place with a time of 2:13.93.

In the 200 yard breaststroke, Humphrey finished in second place, swimming to a time of 2:35.46.
Hannah Parbst came in third with a time of 2:36.80 while Domena finished in fourth with a time of 2:41.05.

Landers was once again the top IC finisher, this time in the 500 yard freestyle. She took second place after swimming to a time of 5:29.39. Conte was close behind in third with a time of 5:31.97.

Jepsen finished second in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.80.
Maria Caminiti took fourth place in 1:06.04.

In the 200 yard IM, Pecze was the top finisher for IC, swimming to a time of 2:20.31, good for second place. Costa finished in third place with a time of 21.01 while Warren was close behind with a time of 2:21.71 for fourth place.

In the final race of the day – the 400 yard freestyle – the team of Bissaillon, Hoffman-Smith, Pecze and Tripler finished in first place with a time of 3:45.91.

In diving action, the Bombers swept the top six spots in the one meter.
Â
Nickie Griesemer won the field, taking first place with a total score of 318.05. Suddaby finished in second with mark of 283.75 while Belson took third with 257.20 points.
Â
Helly finished in fourth place with a score of 254.65 while Wishart took fifth with 251.35 points.
Jocelyn Pawcio rounded out the top six with 239.65 points.

The three meter dive finished in similar fashion, with the Bombers taking the top six spots.

Griesemer once again won, tallying a total of 328.30 points. Suddaby took second place with a score of 304.65 while Helly came in third with a score of 296.55.

Belson took fourth place with a score of 281.45 while Wishart finished in fifth with 276.20 points and Pawcio in sixth with 245.25 points.

The Bombers are back in action next Saturday when they host the Ithaca Invitational, set to begin at 1 p.m.
