GENEVA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team defeated William Smith on Tuesday evening, 162-79.

Junior
Genevieve Tripler led the way with two individual wins as well as a relay win.
Â
The Bombers opened up the meet with a win in the 200 yard medley relay. The team of Tripler, Morgan Hoffman-Smith,
Ashley Warren and
Jaclyn Pecze swam to a time of 1:54.19 to take first.
Â
Emma Whitney, Gabrielle Humphrey,
Alex Estanislau and Caroline Bissailon took third place in the relay with a time of 1:59.57 to earn points for Ithaca.

In the 1000 yard freestyle, Katie Conte was victorious, finishing with a time of 11:31.54. Tori Eastham took second with a time of 11:41.51 while
Maura Beuttel came in fourth with a time of 12:10.86.

The Bombers' top finisher in the 200 yard freestyle was
Nilza Costa, who took second with a time of 2:02.87. Bissailon finished in third with a time of 2:05.98 while
Paige Landers earned fourth with a time of 2:08.34.

Tripler took first in the 50 yard freestyle, swimming to a time of 25.70. Estanislau finished in third with a time of 27.20 and
Josie Berman took fourth with a time of 27.73.

In the 200 yard IM, Hoffman-Smith earned second after swimming to a time of 2:20.15.
Kaitlyn Scott took third with a 2:27.65 mark while
Zoe Vadney earned fourth with a time of 2:30.49.

Pecze took first place in the 100 yard butterfly with a final time of 1:00.34. Maria Caminiti swam to a time of 1:05.12 to take third place and
Emily Altchiler finished in third with a time of 1:05.13.

Ithaca swept the top three spots in the 100 yard freestyle, led by Tripler who took first with a time of 56.46.
Angelina Domena was behind her in second place with a time of 58.20 and Warren finished in third with a time of 58.76.

Landers had the highest finish for the Bombers in the 100 yard backstroke, taking third with a time of 1:04.23. Humphrey came in fifth with a time of 1:08.33 to earn a point for the team.

The Bombers were victorious in the 500 yard freestyle, with Hoffman-Smith taking first. She swam to a time of 5:21.10 while Abby Hartwig finished in second with a time of 5:48.71.

Warren was the top Bombers' finisher in the 100 yard breaststroke, earning second place with a time of 1:12.10.
Casey Koenig took third with a time of 1:14.94 and
Miria Teneza finished in fifth after swimming to a time of 1:17.47.

In the final event of the day, the 200 yard freestyle relay, the team of Landers, Costa, Pecze and Bissailon closed things out on a strong note with a final time of 1:43.94 to take first place.

On the diving side, the Bombers swept the top three spots.
Nickie Griesemer won the one meter dive with a score of 277.10 and set a new William Smith pool record.
Lindsey Suddaby took second with 244.05 points while
Alyssa Wishart finished in third with a score of 238.70.

In the three meter dive, Suddaby finished first with a total score of 275.65 and also set a new pool record at William Smith. Wishart came in second with 258.50 points and
Katie Helly earned third place with a 254.35 mark.

The Bombers are back in action on Friday at 6 p.m. when they travel to Le Moyne College.
