ALFRED, N.Y.  —Thirteen different players recorded a point as the Ithaca College women's lacrosse team earned a 23-1 road win over Alfred University Saturday afternoon at Yunevich Stadium at Merrill Field in Alfred, N.Y.
With the win, the Bombers (10-4, 6-0 Empire 8) remain in sole possession of first place in the conference with two conference clashes remaining.
If Ithaca defeats Utica (1 p.m. Sunday) and St. John Fisher (1 p.m. April 30 on Senior Day), the Bombers will claim the Empire 8 regular-season championship and would host the postseason tournament, May 7-8 at Higgins Stadium.
Ithaca also clinched its seventh straight season with 10 or more wins.
Taking on the Saxons (4-12, 0-7 E8), senior
Riley Marion (three goals, two assists) and junior
Morgan Racicot (four goals, one assist) each tallied five points as IC set a season-high for goals in a game.
Marion also won four draw controls and caused three turnovers, while sophomore
Eve Mahaney added a career-high four points on two goals with two assists in the win.

Maggie Wise, Ithaca's stifling defense held Alfred scoreless for the first 39 minutes and 33 seconds while the Bombers tallied 18 goals during that timeframe.
IC led 9-0 less than 10 minutes in as Racicot scored four goals, Marion added a pair of goals, and Cadwell, Berne, and McGee added goals during the run.
Robinson scored both of her goals during a 9-0 run bridging both halves as Ithaca led 18-0 with 22:24 remaining in the second half. Panara, McGee, Cadwell, Marion, Wagener, Mahaney, and freshman
Julia Silvestri added goals during the spurt to lift IC to its fifth win in six games.
Ithaca closes out the regular season hosting Utica (1 p.m. Sunday) and No. 20 St. John Fisher College (1 p.m. April 30 on Senior Day).
