GENEVA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team made its way west on Tuesday to battle the William Smith Herons in an individual meet as the Bombers came away with a 148-95 win at Bristol Pool.

The Bombers captured seven of 13 events but the highlight of the night came during the diving portion of the meet as
Anna Belson set two new pool records after winning the 1-meter and 3-meter events. Belson won the 1-meter by more than 30 points with a score of 276.55 before winning the 3-meter with a mark of 269.50. The Hartland, Wisc. native has now won three of her last four diving events.

Ithaca took the top spot in the 1000-yard free when
Nilza Costa posted a time of 11:13.73, which was nearly 30 seconds faster than the runner-up.

Jaclyn Pecze would secure more points for the Bombers in the 50-yard free after touching the wall first in 26.26 while
Lake Duffy swam to a win in the 100-yard freestyle after finishing in 55.54.

Cat Tompkins continued to show her speed in the water after taking the top spot in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:28.53 before the Bombers closed out the meet with a win in the 200-yard freestyle relay when
Lauren Cox,
Megan Zart, Duffy and Pecze combined for a first place finish in 1:44.03.  Â

Ithaca will return to the pool on Saturday, November 21 when they welcome Hartwick and SUNY Geneseo to the A&E Center Aquatics Pavilion.
