Alfred, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team (10-3, 6-0 Empire 8) recorded its first shutout in five years as it powered to a 20-0 victory at Alfred (4-9, 0-6 Empire 8) on Sunday afternoon.
Ithaca has won seven straight contests. It is the most consecutive games the Bombers have won since tallying eight straight in the 2003 season.
The Bombers last posted a shutout with a 25-0 victory at Wells in the 2007 season opener.
Ithaca outshot Alfred, 33-2, collected 13 ground balls to the Saxons' 11 and won 14 of 22 draw controls.
Eleven different players scored as the Bombers netted 12 in the first stanza and eight in the second.

Tracy Rivas tied a career-high seven-point performance on game-bests of four goals and three assists as she made her way onto Ithaca's career assists top-10 list. She enters a two-way tie for ninth with 40.
Senior
Nicole Borisenok, who sits fourth all-time at Ithaca with 152 goals, netted three on the day. She moved into a two-way tie for third in program history with 205 career points.

Racquel Lividini also added a hat trick and junior
Kim Armbruster chipped in a pair of goals and an assist for three points. Freshman
Molly Fischer had a career-high two assists in addition to a goal, while classmate
