Alfred, N.Y. -- The men’s lacrosse team opened the contest with 11 straight goals and outshot Alfred 43-21 on route to a 17-5 victory. The Bombers improved their record to 6-3 on the season and 3-0 in the Empire 8.  Freshmen Mike Cintineo (Honeoye Falls-Lima/Honeoye Falls) and Alec Siefert (Duxbury/ Duxbury, Mass.) each tallied four points with three goals and one assist. 

Sophomore Logan Bobzien (Arapahoe/ Littleton, Colo.) added three goals and sophomores Matt Nelligan (Pingree School/ Rowley, Mass.) and Mike Nowak (Ballston Spa/ Ballston Spa) were also multi-goal scorers, scoring two goals each.

Junior Dennis Butler (Pleasantville/ Pleasantville) recorded 10 saves to earn the victory.

Ithaca’s next game is against RIT on April 12 at 4 p.m. on the Upper Terrace Field.
