Senior John Prendergast was named MVP of the baseball championship after earning two victories over the weekend. Prendergast tossed seven shutout innings and gave up just two hits with three strikeouts in a 9-1 opening win against Stevens. He needed just 71 pitches to get through the start. During Sunday's extra inning triumph over Fisher, 9-7, Prendergast threw 3.2 scoreless innings of relief.
