Junior John Januszkiewicz (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) scored nine points on seven goals with two assists as the Ithaca College men's lacrosse team concluded the regular season perfect in conference play with wins over Elmira College and Hartwick.
 
Januszkiewicz scored four goals with two assists in a 22-3 win over Elmira Wednesday, and he added three goals in Saturday's 16-3 win over Hartwick for the Bombers (16-1, 8-0 Empire 8).
 
Ithaca, which moved up to No. 1 in the national rankings Monday, has won a school-record 14 games and will host the Empire 8 tournament, May 4 and 7. Ithaca will play No. 4 St. John Fisher College at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinals, with the championship game Saturday afternoon. The winner earns the conference’s automatic qualifier into the NCAA Division III tournament.
 
Januszkiewicz has scored 53 points on 37 goals with 16 assists while playing in only 12 games for the Bombers, who lead the nation in scoring offense (17.53 goals per game) have scored 15 or more goals in 16 of 17 games.
