Sophomore Anna Belson claimed two All-American titles at the 2016 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, held Friday and Saturday in Greensboro, N.C.
Belson finished in fourth place on the 3-meter board, earning 433.60 points in the preliminary round before notching 448.45 points in the final dive, which was less than 30 points off the lead score. Her All-American status was the third in her two-year career after the Hartland, Wis. native earned All-American honors on the 1-meter board earlier this week with a fourth place finish on the 1-meter board. In that event, Belson beat out 21 other participants with 424.20 points.Â
Belson was also named All-American as a freshman in 2015 on the 3-meter board.Â
Ithaca wrapped up the four-day championship competition in 20th place with 37 team points. Â
