Senior Megan Harrington (Fayetteville-Manlius/Fayetteville, N.Y.) posted season-best scores on the floor routine, uneven bars, and the vault as the Ithaca College gymnastics team knocked off Springfield College Saturday in a matchup of two nationally-ranked squads.
Harrington scored a personal-best 9.625 on the floor to tie for first as No. 8 Ithaca (3-3) outscored No. 7 Springfield 183.425-182.025 inside a jam-packed Ben Light Gymnasium.
Ithaca swept the season-series from Springfield, also having handed the Pride a 185.925-185.275 defeat at Southern Connecticut State Jan. 16.
Ithaca placed four of its gymnasts in the top six on the floor as Harrington exceeded her previous personal-best floor score of 9.6, set against Brockport (3/1/2015) and Cortland (3/7/2015).
Harrington also won the uneven bars, scoring a season-best 9.450 as the Bombers boasted three of the top four finishers.
Harrington capped her day placing fifth on the vault (9.425), equaling her season-best score.
Ithaca returns to action Sunday in the annual Cornell Invitational.
