Colleen Keegan-Twombly (Kingston/Kingston, N.Y.) of the Ithaca College field hockey team has been named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week after guiding the Bombers to three straight wins including two in conference play during the week that ended October 11, 2015.

The junior forward netted five goals in all and started the week with a hat trick in a 7-0 victory over Wells before adding tallies in a 4-0 win over Elmira and a 3-2 victory against Stevens. She scored game-winners against Wells and Elmira.

Keegan-Twombly currently ranks second in the Empire 8 in multiple categories including points scored (21), goals (10) and points per game (1.75).

Keegan-Twombly and the rest of the field hockey team will look to make it four wins in a row at 1 p.m. on Saturday when they visit Houghton.
