Brown was named Empire 8 Athlete of the Week after recording the highest mark in the pole vault (4.40 meters) at Saturday’s Tiger Invitational hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology. Brown, the school-record-holder in the event, qualified for the ECAC Championships.
