Dom Mikula won his first career national title in the pole vault at the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships with a mark of 5.05 meters. Mikula returned for his final season of eligibility for the 2024 spring season and finished fourth at the outdoor championships to earn his eighth career All-American honor. He is the first men's track & field athlete to win a national title during the outdoor season.
