Freshman springer Tia Jones won Rookie of the Week after winning the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.78 seconds at the Cornell Sunday Invitational. She also secured first in the 200-meter dash as she crossed the line in 25.43 seconds, which was more than two seconds faster than the runner-up.
