For the second time this year, freshman Tia Jones was named Rookie of the Week as she took third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.83 seconds at the Spartan Invitational at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, which was .28 seconds faster than the next closest Division III runner. Jones also ran in the 200-meter dash and placed third with a time of 25.75 seconds.
