This past weekend, Lenker posted a big performance in helping to shut down a potent Vassar attack that ranked second in the Liberty League in goals coming into the weekend. The IC senior posted seven saves in notching her third solo shutout and Ithaca's fifth clean sheet in all competitions this season.
Â
Lenker was strong throughout the day, but certainly had her finest moments during a pressure-packed fourth quarter. With IC nursing a 2-0 lead that ballooned to 3-0 during the first three minutes of the fourth, Lenker stood tall in Vassar's desperate comeback bid. She made four of her seven total saves in the final 13-minutes to help keep the clean sheet.
Â
Lenker continues to rank among the Liberty League's best among eligible goalkeepers. Her 1.100 goals against average tops the league, while her .833 save percentage is tied for second-best in the league this season.

Keil provided what would be Ithaca's game-winning tally in a huge road win at previously undefeated Vassar. She scored her second of the season on a beautifully worked play in the contest's eighth-minute. Although the tally was the first of three on the day for IC, Keil's goal stood up as the game-winner.

It is the first time in at least two decades that Ithaca has knocked off a team ranked within the Top-5 of the NFHCA Poll. The win also helped the Bombers remain unbeaten in Liberty League play, setting up another battle for first-place on Friday when the Bombers head to Skidmore for a clash of 3-0 clubs.
