Ithaca College Athletics

Mullen had another fantastic week in leading Ithaca to match its best start to a year since the 2013 season. The sophomore transfer finished with three goals on the week, scoring in both of IC's contests in a 2-0 win over Hartwick and another in a 2-1 defeat at Susquehanna that was the team's first loss of the season.
 
She began the week with her second two-goal effort in five appearances this season against the Hawks. The first goal came in the second quarter on a skillful deflection play from the slot. She added insurance in the second half, steering home a back-door shot-pass on a penalty corner chance.
 
Mullen continued to wield a hot stick over the weekend in Susquehanna. Unfortunately, IC was unable to match a program-best start of 6-0 that was last achieved nearly 40 years ago in 1981, but Mullen notched her third goal of the week with under a minute to go to keep hope alive for the Bombers.
 
She currently leads all Liberty League scorers with 13 points and six goals.
