This marks the 73rd year of the game. The tradition started in 1940 and has been played annually with the exception of 1944 and 1945.
Ithaca fell to top-ranked RIT in the NCAA Second Round to end its season. The Bombers made their 12th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and first since 2008 by winning the Empire 8 Championship Tournament. Ithaca finished the season with a 15-5 record, its third most wins in program history.
