2015: Gobrecht earned All-Empire 8 First Team recognition as a junior. He started each of Ithaca's 18 games and commanded the Bomber's defense with a team-high 52 caused turnovers. He also ranked in the top-15th nationally in that category. Gobrecht posted his best performance against nationally-ranked Cabrini, where he forced eight caused turnovers. He also ranked third on the team with 72 groundballs. Gobrecht also aided in Ithaca's offensive efforts with seven goals and three assists on the year. 2014: A USILA All-America Honorable Mention selection, Gobrecht was named to the All-Empire 8 First Team as a sophomore. He started each of the Bombers’ 20 games and anchored the Ithaca defense with a team-best 35 caused turnovers. Gobrecht forced a season-high four in a conference win over Utica. Selected to the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team, he collected 52 ground balls during 2014. 2013: Gobrecht played in each of the Bombers’ 18 games as a rookie, starting 15. He tallied one score in a victory over Empire 8 opponent Alfred, while adding 42 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers. High School: A 2011 graduate of Ithaca High School, Gobrecht was coached by Frank Welch. He earned two varsity letters and was an all-league selection as a senior. He was also named the team's most improved player.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Jed Gobrecht and Karenn Reeter. His grandfather, Ed Gobrecht, is an Ithaca College graduate.
