HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- The Ithaca College women's tennis team improved to 5-0 in dual matches this season with a 9-0 win at Houghton (2-8) on Tuesday afternoon. The Bombers have won all five of their dual matches this season by shutout, and Ithaca players have yet to drop a set in singles play.

Sydney Greenspan, Maddie Overholt and Chessa Mehlman made their collegiate dual-match debuts and were victorious in both singles and doubles play. Cristina Nunez, Allison Vizgaitis and Alyssa Steinweis were the other winning members in Ithaca's lineup.

Some members of Ithaca's team will compete this weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Region Championships, hosted by William Smith in Geneva, N.Y. Other team members will compete in a doubles tournament at the University of Rochester.
