Ithaca College Athletics

2013-14: Junior Alyssa Steinweis was an All-Empire 8 First Team pick in doubles play. Steinweis led Ithaca with 22 overall doubles wins, including a 15-6 doubles mark in dual matches. She also totaled 35 victories, two wins behind the team best. Steinweis, the 2012 Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, earned her first-career all-conference team selection.

2012-13: Steinweis was selected as Empire 8 Rookie of the Year as a sophomore. She recorded a 15-7 overall record in singles play for the Bombers and 4-0 in Empire 8 play. She also went 8-8 in doubles, while being paired with four different partners.

2011-12: Steinweis was a member of the women’s soccer team at IC her freshman year. Steinweis played in 16 matches off the Bomber bench. She picked up her first career point in the win over Hartwick, assisting on the final goal.

High School: A 2011 graduate of East Brunswick High School, Steinweis was a three-year letter winner on the soccer and track & field teams. Steinweis also earned second-team all-area in track & field.

Personal: A health sciences major, she is the daughter of Jack and Judy Steinweis.
