18670Now in it's 57th year, the Cortaca Jug game has been a staple in the Division III college football landscape since 1959.  Seperated by less than 21 miles, Ithaca and Cortland annually draw thousands of fans, community members, students and alumni to their respective campus to watch the two teams carry on the tradition on the gridiron.  The clash of nearby rivals has sold out for the last 26 years.

This year's contest carries even more weight than previous meetings as an NCAA bid may be up for grabs with both teams now belonging to the Empire 8 conference.

Aside from football, students from both institutions band together for various charitable endeavors.  Both schools routinely hold blood drives along with climate challenges to make their communities a better place while also boosting school spirit and pride.

With IC alumni, family, and fans all over the country, viewing parties have been set up to allow Bomber fans to enjoy a live webcast of the game and cheer on the Bombers with fellow alumni, parents, and friends. Official Ithaca College watch parties have been established in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Long Island, Philadelphia, Tampa, and Washington, D.C.
