ST. LAWRENCE GAME NOTES
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football program opens up Liberty League competition on Saturday at 1 p.m. as the Bombers travel to the North Country to take on St. Lawrence University at Leckonby Stadium in Canton, N.Y. Ithaca looks to get in the win column for the first time this season and also extend its 22-game winning streak over the Saints, who are 1-1 in 2017.

ALL-TIME SERIES: Ithaca leads the all-time series between the two schools, 29-6, dating back to 1931. The Bombers possess a 22-game win streak over the Saints since 1984. Throughout the span, Ithaca has shutout St. Lawrence on six separate occasions and have outscored the Saints, 855-113. The two schools met each year from 1974-2003, in which the Bombers took 27 of the 30 matchups. Saturday's contest marks the first time the two institutions have met since 2010 when the Bombers won, 33-3.

FIRST CONFERENCE SHOWDOWN: Saturday's matchup marks the first conference game for the Bombers as members of the Liberty League. Ithaca officially joined the Liberty League on July 1, 2017.

KISHBAUGH TURNING HEADS: Junior defensive back
Tyler Kishbaugh had a career day vs. Brockport last Saturday. The Quakertown, Pa. native notched a career-high 10 tackles (two solo, eight assisted), forced and recovered a fumble. Kishbaugh, who had appeared in four previous games throughout his career, had never notched a tackle prior to Brockport.

BROWN APPROACHING MILESTONE: Senior runningback
Tristan Brown needs 86 yards on the ground to reach 2,000 career rushing yards. Brown currently ranks 10th in school history in career rushing yards with 1,914. The nine Bombers ahead of Brown on the all-time list have all amassed more than 2,000 career rushing yards.

LINEBACKER CREW: Senior linebackers
Dan Loizos and
Kenny Bradley are third and fourth in the Liberty League in tackles through two games this season. Loizos has tallied 22 tackles and Bradley has notched 19 through the first two weeks.

GLADNEY CONTINUES TO IMPRESS: Sophomore wide receiver
Will Gladney has reeled in a Liberty League-leading 16 receptions through two weeks of play. His 182 receiving yards ranks second in the conference, trailing only Hobart's Brandon Shed with 201 receiving yards.

TOUGH NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE: The Bombers' previous two games have come against ranked opponents. Alfred was ranked No. 21 and Brockport was ranked No. 25 when the Bombers squared off against them. Alfred has since jumped two spots to No. 19 and Brockport three spots to No. 22.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS: St. Lawrence enters Saturday's matchup with a record of 1-1. The Saints fell to Utica in their opening contest, 20-7, but bounced back with a 17-10 victory over Norwich last weekend in Vermont.
ST. LAWRENCE BY THE NUMBERS: The Saints are averaging 12.0 points per game and have allowed 15.0 per outing. SLU is also averaging 323.0 yards (162.0 rushing, 161.0 passing), while the opposition is at 285.0 (247.5 rushing, 37.5 passing).

SKY'S THE LIMIT: Senior linebacker Sky Williamson leads the Saints defense with 24 tackles, which ranks second in the Liberty League. Williamson leads the conference tackles for a loss with 4.5 on the season.

UP NEXT: Ithaca will be on its bye week next Saturday. The Bombers will then prepare to host Hobart College on September 30 at 1 p.m. at Butterfield Stadium.
