AUSTIN, Texas – Ithaca College graduate student
Jenn Randall has been named to the
NCAA Division III Academic All-America Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Team. A third-team selection, Randall earned First-Team All-District nods in May.
She joins softball student-athlete
Sydney Folk in earning 2013-14 academic all-America accolades for the Bombers.
A two-time track & field all-American, Randall ran to cross country all-America honors at the 2013 NCAA Championships with a 12th-place finish out of 280 runners. She clocked a time of 21:37.70 on the six-kilometer course. Randall placed fourth overall at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships tallying all-region recognition. Named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, Randall had a team-best 6K time of 21:24.60.
Randall is the first women's cross country/track & field student-athlete to earn academic all-America honors since Emma Dewart did so in 2011-12. Ithaca student-athletes have earned a total of 86 academic all-America honors, including 51 over the past 17 years.
