ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca College graduate student
Jenn Randall has been named to the
District 3 NCAA Division III Women's Track & Field/Cross Country All-Academic Team. She is one of 10 recognized on the first team and will advance to the ballot for academic all-America honors. Randall earned all-district nods for the third consecutive year.
A two-time track & field all-American, Randall ran to cross country all-America honors at the 2013 NCAA Championships with a 12th-place finish out of 280 runners. She clocked a time of 21:37.70 on the six-kilometer course. Randall placed fourth overall at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships tallying all-region recognition. Named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, Randall had a team-best 6K time of 21:24.60.
The 20th women's track & field and/or cross country student-athlete honored in program history, Randall is the first to receive first-team recognition since she did so in 2012-13. A total of 200 Ithaca athletes have earned academic all-district honors over the past 24 years.
