ITHACA, N.Y. – The 13th-ranked Ithaca College men's lacrosse team (2-1) upended visiting Lycoming (0-3), 15-3, Wednesday afternoon at Higgins Stadium.
The Bombers jumped out to a 5-1 gap in the first before taking a 9-2 advantage into halftime. Ithaca improved its margin to 15-3 in the third, finalizing all scoring. The teams combined to take 15 fourth-quarter shots, none of which found the back of the net.
Senior
Jake Long led the game and matched his career-high of five goals against the Warriors. He added an assist for six points on the day, setting a career-best. Sophomore
Michael Walker netted a hat trick to rewrite his career high. Rookie
John Januszkiewicz contributed a pair of scores and a game-high three assists. Junior
James Manilla chipped in one goal and dished out two assists and senior
Pat Slawta added one and one. Seniors

Jimmy Ryan accounted for the Bombers' other three scores.
Senior
Brandon Henne was 10-for-13 in faceoff action and collected a career- and game-best eight ground balls. The Bombers won 15 of the 19 faceoffs contested.
Sophomore
Scott Sidnam improved to 2-1 between the pipes making seven stops for the win. Freshmen
Justin Isaacs and
Jack Deragon split the fourth period and made two saves each.
Ithaca owned a solid 60-20 advantage in shots and scooped up 48 ground balls to Lycoming's 20.
The Bombers will next travel to Ursinus for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday, March 8.
