ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's soccer team (4-10-0) lost to Cortland (10-6-1) Sunday afternoon, falling to the Red Dragons by a score of 1-0 at Carp Wood Field. Freshman

Kenny Chapman stopped 1-of-2 shots in the loss.
After a scoreless first half, the Red Dragons scored the game's only goal in the 72nd minute. Cortland's Sam Kirschenbaum took a feed in the box from Thomas Nocito, beating Chapman on the one-timer for his first score of the year. Ithaca challenged in the remaining 18 minutes, scoring a goal in the 81st minute that was waived off due to an offside's call.
Despite the pressure from the Bombers in the final minutes, Cortland held on to defeat Ithaca by a score of 1-0.
The Bombers are back in action on Oct. 30 in a road non-conference match against RIT. The game is set to start at 3 p.m.
