Women's Cross Country Team Competes at Hamilton Invitational

CLINTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's cross country team ran to a ninth-place finish out of 13 teams Saturday at the Hamilton Invitational hosted at the Hamilton College Golf Course.

Junior Trisha Ignatowski placed 44th out of 148 runners on the five-kilometer course to lead the Bombers. She finished in 20:05.30. Rookie Emily Drain placed 48th in 20:20.70 and sophomore Sydney Glenn followed in 52nd crossing the finish line in 20:25.70.

Sophomore Colleen Vaughn matched a season-best time with a 70th-place finish of 21:07.10. Rookie Emma Boyd clocked a time of 21:13.00 to place 73rd.

Rounding out the Bombers' top seven were sophomores Emily Krakowski and Rachel Doane. They tallied times of 21:40.50 and 21:41.90 to place consecutively, 86th and 87th.

Ithaca will next race Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble.
