Biography
2013: Doane competed in seven races as a sophomore. She clocked season-best times of 17:14.40 in the 4,000-meter run, 21:10.80 in the 5,000 and 26:10.50 in the 6,000.
2012: Doane did not run cross country as a freshman.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Boonsboro High School, Doane was a four-year letter winner in indoor and outdoor track & field. She helped her team to several state, county and regional titles. Indoors, she took third as a member of the 4x800 relay at the state meet in 2010-11, before winning the same event as a senior. Doane ran to a first-place finish in the 800 run at the regional meet in 2011-12. During the outdoor season, she helped set a school record in the 4x800 relay and placed first in the 800 run at the county meet in 2011. Doane also played soccer.
Personal: A cinema and photography major, she is the daughter of Susan and Fred Doane. She is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
