ITHACA, N.Y. -- Fourteen of the top women's tennis teams from across New York are competing this weekend in the New York State Division III Women's Tennis Championships at Ithaca College. The second day of competition took place Saturday and the tournament concluded Sunday with the championship bracket finals at the Wheeler Tennis Courts.

Two rounds of doubles and one round of singles play were completed Friday. Ithaca advanced three players to the quarterfinals in singles play as Haley Kusak advanced at first singles, Allison Vizgaitis moved on at second singles and Alyssa Steinweis is still alive in the fifth singles bracket.
