ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's and women's track & field programs will officially get their indoor seasons underway this weekend as the Bombers head over to East Hill to compete in the Greg Page Relays on December 1-2, which will be the first time in which the Relays are broken into a two-day event. This will also serve as Ithaca's lone meet before the college goes on winter break.
Following the Greg Page Relays, the Bombers will return to action with their annual alumni celebration on January 6 to gear up for the remainder of the indoor season.
On January 12, IC heads to the New York Armory for the TNCJ Invitational, while other members of the teams will hang back in Ithaca to compete in the Cornell Southern Tier Invitational the following day.
Ithaca will then host its first of three meets of the season on January 20 as IC welcomes Brockport, TCNJ and Oneonta to South Hill for a quad meet. The next weekend, IC heads to Nazareth for the Inter-Conference Challenge.
On February 3-4, the Bombers return home for the annual Bomber Invitational and Multi and then host another tri/quad meet with Cornell, Cortland and Oneonta on February 10. That same day, other members will head to Boston.
The final meet before championship season will take place at Cornell once again on February 17 for the Marc Deneault Invitational.
On February 23-24, Ithaca heads to the Liberty League Championships at St. Lawrence University and then to Nazareth for the AARTFC Championships on March 1-2. The NCAA Division III Championships take place on March 8-9 in Virginia Beach, Va.
Last season, the IC women finished second at the Liberty League Championships, while the men were third. The women would go on to placed fourth at AARTFC and the men were fifth. Both teams performed exceptionally well at the NCAA Championships with eighth and 14th place showings.
The IC women return nine all-Liberty League performers from a season ago, while the men welcome back two honorees.
Live result and video links for each meet will be posted throughout the season to the team schedules once they are made available.
