Bob Graham ’59 played basketball and baseball at Ithaca. He started at forward for two years on the basketball team and went 16-1 as a baseball pitcher (including a win over Pittsburgh in the NCAA playoffs). Graham signed with the Chicago Cubs and spent four years in their organization. He spent 23 years as baseball coach at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Central School, winning two Section III titles and 12 league championships, and also coached varsity soccer and basketball. His son Steve was a starter on Ithaca’s 1988 national championship baseball team.
