Football, Coaching Achievement

Jim became the Bombers head football coach in 1967, having been an assistant at Maine and Colgate. In 1974, he was honored by the New York Football Writers as Coach of the Year, and was also a Kodak Regional Coach of the Year award winner. His excellent leadership and “no-nonsense” coaching ability allowed his teams to dominate the opposition.
