The winningest men's tennis player in school history and one of two ITA All-Americans, Josh Rifkin won 77.6-percent of his matches over four seasons. Rifkin totaled 170 career wins, with 90 coming in doubles play and 80 more in singles action.
Rifkin, and his doubles partner Taylor Borda, were the ITA Northeast champions and finished third at the ITA Small College Championship. The duo was ranked 15th nationally in 2009-10 and played in the NCAA Division III Doubles Championship, where they finished the season with a 26-5 record.
He was named the Empire 8 Player of the Year in 2010 and was a three-time Empire 8 First Team honoree in singles and doubles. As a first-year in 2008, Rifkin was named second team in singles and doubles, and culminated his career in 2011 as the Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year. Rifkin remains the only singles player in program history to ever be nationally ranked.
