The football program's all-time leader in rushing yards, Jamie Donovan totaled 3,844 yards and 46 touchdowns in 43 career games from 2004-07 for the Bombers. Ithaca won 32 games and made two NCAA appearances with Donovan in the backfield.
During his first year with the program, Donovan totaled 1,224 yards and 15 touchdowns and was named the ECAC and Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, as well as Empire 8 Second Team. He would then rush for 1,515 yards and 17 more touchdowns as a sophomore and junior. Donovan capped off his career with 1,105 yards and 14 more scores as a senior. He added another Empire 8 Second Team honor as a junior and was selected to the first team as a senior.
Donovan is just one of two running backs to rush for 200 or more yards in a regular season game and is the only back to record a pair of 1,000-yard seasons.
