Ithaca College Athletics

Darling has been a leader in promoting athletics for women, and has held numerous positions in organizations with that goal. She has served as interim president of the New York State Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW), and in 1979 was presented the New York State IAW Service Award for her contributions to women’s athletics. Darling has taught physical education, and coached at high schools and college since her graduation
