Chris Martin '88 earned a school-record 15 All-America honors for the men's swimming & diving team. Four of his All-America finishes - including sixth-place showings with the 400 and 800-yard freestyle relay teams - came in 1986, when he helped the Bombers to a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships, the program's highest ever. Martin won eight state championships and set a number of school records, including a school-record performance in the 800-yard freestyle that stood for 18 years.
