Ithaca College Athletics

2010-11: Geary helped the Bombers to a school-record 7:51.65 3,200-meter relay finish during his sophomore indoor season. A two-time All-NYSCTC selection indoors and an All-ECAC finisher in the 4,000 DRM, Geary clocked season-bests of 10:06.37 in the DMR, a team-best 1:58.26 in the 800 and 2:36.79 in the 1,000. He was the Empire 8 champion in the 1,500 and runner-up in the 800, while earning all-state recognition on the Bombers’ 4x800 team. Geary had outdoor season-best times of 8:09.15 in the 3,200 relay, a team-best 1:56.63 800 and 4:00.29 in the 1,500.

2009-10: During the indoor season of his freshman year, Geary competed in a pair of individual events and ran on three relays en route to earning All-ECAC, all-state and all-conference recognition. He recorded season-bests of 1:58.62 in the 800-meter run and 4:32.14 in the mile. He also ran on Ithaca’s 3:38.71 1,600 relay, 8:16.12 3,200 relay and 10:19.23 distance medley relay. Helping the Bombers to an eighth-place finish in the DMR, Geary earned All-ECAC honors, while earning All-NYSCTC in the 800 and 3,200 relay and All-Empire 8 in the 800 and DMR. Named the Empire 8 Athlete of the Week on April 19, Geary was the outdoor conference champion in both the 800 and 1,500 runs. He recorded season-best finishes of 52.42 in the 400 dash, 1:59.81 in the 800 run and 3:59.67 in the 1,500.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Brighton High School, Geary lettered three times in track & field. He also lettered in cross country.

Personal: A music education and music theory major, he is the son of Brian and Marcia Geary. He is also a member of Ithaca's cross country team.
