2015: Gomez earned Empire 8 Second-Team honors and was Ithaca's selection as E8 Sportsman of the Year.

2014: Gomez was named All-Empire 8 First-Team and All-NYSCTC Third-Team.

2013: Gomez competed in seven races as a sophomore. He clocked a season-best 8,000-meter time of 26:21.00 at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championship. Placing ninth at the conference championship, he was named to the Empire 8 First Team. Recognized as Empire 8 Runner of the Week on September 23, Gomez earned All-NYSCTC Third-Team praise with a 20th-place finish at the state meet. Gomez was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team and the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014.

2012: Gomez competed in six races during his rookie season. He tallied a season-best time of 27:29.93 in the 8,000-meter run at the Empire 8 Championship to place eighth. His finish earned him All-Empire 8 Second-Team honors. Gomez was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Nauset Regional High School, Gomez was letter winner on the Warriors’ cross country and track & field teams. He was a Division III state qualifier in the mile run during the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.

Personal: A music education major, he is the son of Michael Gomez and Susan Peck. He is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
