2012: Geary, a captain, competed in six races during his senior season. He tallied a season-best time of 26:15.00 in the 8,000-meter run at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championship to finish 30th and earn all-region accolades. Geary placed fourth at the Empire 8 Championship to record first-team honors and was named E8 Runner of the Week on Sept. 10. A USTFCCCA All-Academic Team selection, Geary was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.

2011: Geary competed in seven races as a junior, earning First-Team All-Empire 8 accolades with a seventh-place finish at the championships. He also earned All-NYSCTC Third-Team honors with an 18th-place finish at the state meet. Geary recorded season-best times of 26:40.40 in the 8,000-meter run and 27:52.00 in the 5.2-mile run. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2011 and Spring 2012.

2010: Geary competed in five races for the Bombers during his sophomore season. He recorded Ithaca’s second-best 6,000-meter run time with a 20:32.90 finish at Cortland’s Jack Daniels Invitational. He also clocked a season-best 8K performance of 27:13.00 at the Empire 8 Championships. Geary was named to the Spring 2011 Empire 8 President’s List.

2009: Geary had a top five Bomber finish at the Oswego Invitational placing ninth at 20:27. He also finished fourth at Cornell’s Reif Invitational with a time of 17:10.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Brighton High School, Geary was coached by Nate Huckle. He earned three varsity letters in cross country and named first team all-county runner as a senior. He also lettered in track & field.

Personal: A music education and music theory major, he is the son of Brian and Marcia Geary. He is also a distance runner on Ithaca's track & field team.
