2016: Shumway posted another monster season for the Bombers as a junior, finishing with new career highs of 73 points and 56 goals. His point total ranked second on the squad, while he paced IC in goals scored, six of which went down as game winners. He posted multi-point efforts in 15 of his 19 appearances, which included a season-high seven points on five goals and two assists against St. John Fisher (5/4). He also scooped 33 ground balls and recorded seven caused turnovers on the season. Shumway was named an Empire 8 All-Conference First Team selection for the second consecutive year, while he was tabbed a USILA Honorable Mention All-American for the first time.

2015: Shumway was Ithaca's leading scorer as sophomore, recording 42 goals and 29 assists on 18 starts. He started all 18 games for Ithaca and was selected to the All-Empire 8 First-Team. Shumway posted a season-high seven points in a conference victory over Utica with five goals and two assists. He also registered three goals and two assists against No. 4 RIT. 2014: Shumway did not see time for the Bombers during his rookie campaign.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Williston Northampton School, Shumway was a letter winner on the lacrosse team. A two-time team MVP, he earned first-team All-NEPSAC four times. Serving as a captain during his junior and senior year, Shumway played on the 2010 Adidas New England team, the 2011 Brine New England team and was a 2013 honorable mention for NEPSAC Offensive Player of the Year. He also played soccer and hockey for the Wildcats.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Curt and Elaine Shumway.
