Ithaca College Athletics

2019:  Wrapped the season with a .272 batting average after recorded 28 hits... Scored 21 runs while hitting nine doubles, one triple and four home runs... Drove in 17 runs and racked up 51 total bases... Had a .495 sluffing percentage and .336 on-base percentage... Stole six bases on the season... Liberty League Spring 2019 All-Academic Team.

2018: Appeared in 33 games while making 28 starts... Recorded 21 hits, scored 15 runs and 10 RBI on the season... Was an integral part of the Bombers' Super Regional win, which earned them a trip to the DIII World Series as she accounted for four RBI in the final game of the series... All-Liberty League Spring Academic Team.

2017:  Cooney made 27 starts for the Bombers this season... She had 17 hits in 78 at bats...Hit her first collegiate homerun, while also driving in a career high for a game three RBI on April 13th against Buffalo State...

2016: Cooney made 29 appearances on the season and started nine games.  She recorded three hits in 20 at-bats including one double.  She had four RBI and scored seven runs.  She had five steals in six attempts and drew three walks.

High School: Cooney attended Kingston High School where she earned four varsity letters under head coaches Brian Mills and Andrea Clausi…Served as team captain in her senior season…Helped her team become Section Champions in her senior season…Was a three-time Daily Freeman First Team All-Star selection…Also earned four varsity letters in volleyball and indoor track.  
 
Personal: Annie, the daughter of Pat Cooney, is a math-physics double major.
