2017-2018: Named Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year...Placed on the Liberty League All-Academic Team...Yacovoni started all 29 games for the Bombers... Scored a season-high 20 points and added 3 rebounds and 2 assists against FDU-Florham on Nov. 17... Registered a double-double against Claremont M-S with 16 points and 10 rebounds... Recorded a double-double against RIT-W with 14 points and a career-high 17 rebounds on Jan. 9... Notched a double-double in back to back games against RPI and Skidmore with 16 points and 14 rebounds, and then 13 points and 11 rebounds. Earned her fifth double-double of the season against Rensselaer on Feb. 3... Recorded 11 points and nine rebounds against William Smith on Feb. 20th...Yacovoni concluded the season with 316 points and 64 assists, including a team-high 230 rebounds.
2016-2017: Named to Empire 8 All-Tournament Team...Made 27 starts in 28 appearances for the Bombers...Led the team in minutes played with 24.3 per contest... Scored a season best 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field at Stevens on February 25th... played a season high 37 minutes against SUNY New Paltz, scoring 15 points and grabbing seven rebounds... 2014-15: Yacovoni played in 23 games this season for the Bombers. She averaged 12.4 minutes-per-contest while recording 3.2 points-per-game. Yacovoni shot 41.9 percent from the field for the Bombers and reached a career-high nine points three times throughout the season. She finished the year with 73 points, 69 rebounds, 19 assists and 18 steals. |
2014-15 game-by-game statistics
High School: A 2014 graduate of Maine-Endwell High School, Yacovoni earned four varsity letters under baskteball coach Sonny Spera. She was a two-time BCANY Section IV Class A Player of the Year and a second team All-State selection. Yacovoni was named STAC All-Division/All- Conference three times and helped her team to become Section IV Champions three of her four years on the team. She was a two year captain who guided her team to a state final and state final four two years in a row. Yacovoni was also a member of the volleyball team where she earned four varisty letters and three STAC All-Conference honors.
Personal: An occupational therapy major, she is the daughter of Tim and Elaine Yacovoni.
